Professional Racehorse Training

Commitment to maintaining quality, not quantity, horse welfare is paramount at R.T. Leemon Racing.

Ron ensures that he maintains a high level of animal husbandry to allow his horses to enjoy and compete to the maximum of their ability. He has an intimate knowledge of his horses with a hands-on approach. Ron and Gaye reside on the premises, providing 24-hour care.

The stable uses the services of reputable farriers Kurt Nicholson and Michael Kavazos together with veterinary service from Warwick Farm Equine Centre.


Owner Welfare

At R. T. Leemon Racing we strive to ensure owners enjoy the experience of owning and racing a racehorse with honest assessment, realistic approach and selective placement of the horses to achieve optimum results. Owner involvement is encouraged.


The stables are named after Ron’s first horse Godarchi, and is ideally located on-course at Warwick Farm Racecourse.

The horses walk to work at the track and have the use of the state of the art facilities including the weighing machines, training track and swimmer.

The horses are also exercised at Rielly’s Paddocks and bush track that surrounds the property.

Our training complex has 21 bright and airy stables, 6 horse walking machine, sand rolls, together with Ron and his wife Gaye living on site, providing 24 hour care.
