Manawanui was born on October 11, 2008, in Australia. He was a bay gelding by Oratorio out of the mare Lady Remlap. He was selected and purchased by Ron Leemon at the 2010 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale for $45,000.

Manawanui had a successful racing career, winning 7 of his 20 starts, with total prize money earnings of over AUD $1.4 million. He had a particularly impressive three-year-old season in 2011, winning five races in a row, including the Group 2 Up and Coming Stakes, Group 2 Stan Fox Stakes and Group 1 Golden Rose Stakes.

Manawanui’s success on the track earned him a large following among racing fans, who admired his speed, stamina, and determination. He was known for his powerful finishes and his ability to win from a variety of positions in the race.

Innings was born on September 3, 2002 in Australia. He was a bay gelding by Over out of the mare Lazinda. 

As honest as the day is long, Innings raced 37 times, won on 6 occassions and was placed on a further 13, accumulating nearly $400,000 in prizemoney.

His crowning achievement came at Rosehill when he won the Listed ATC Winter Stakes in a nail-biting finish when ridden by Rod Quinn.
